Concrete floor slab transitions feature a depression with a minimum six-inch dimension and continuous slab reinforcing dowels. The construction joint incorporates a continuous keyway with the slab edge tooled on each side to a one-eighth-inch radius. The control joint incorporates a sawcut executed within the first twelve hours of the pour with the top edge tooled to a one-eighth-inch radius.
