Concrete is placed over a metal floor deck supported by a structural steel beam. A web stiffener plate is welded to the steel beam web, referenced to general structural notes for architectural clearance. The assembly features a joint with a half-inch offset and dimensional clearances ranging from twelve to twenty-eight inches, adjustable as needed for architectural clearance.
