A buckling-restrained brace connects to a steel column and roof beam intersection. A slotted gusset plate accommodates the buckling-restrained brace, with the gusset and its attachment designed by CoreBrace. Typical stiffener plates are provided on near side and far side of the beam and column as required by the manufacturer. Welds are indicated at the beam flanges, and a work point is established at the intersection of the framing axes. Steel column sizes are specified per the structural framing plan.
