A structural kicker brace extends diagonally from a supporting frame beam up to the underside of a floor beam beneath a concrete over metal floor deck. The kicker brace is sized per plan and connects to the framing using a quarter-inch fillet weld on two sides, aided by a quarter-inch by four-inch by zero-foot-six-inch plate. A web stiffener is provided at the frame beam per general structural notes. Additional frame beam sizing and location details are referenced to the structural plans and elevations.
