The high-speed roll-up door frame is mounted to a hollow structural section support member, which is sized per structural drawings. The HSS member is positioned adjacent to a concrete masonry unit wall, with U-channel metal trim painted white installed on both sides of the HSS to bridge the gap to the masonry. Sealant is applied around the entire perimeter of the HSS and masonry interface, as specified in the caulking schedule on sheet A2.1. The metal trim is secured to the masonry using fasteners per insulated metal panel specifications.
