A keyed construction joint occurs between adjacent concrete placements. Form material must be completely removed from the keyway prior to placing adjacent concrete. The key profile features a two-and-a-half-inch central depth with three-and-a-half-inch overall key height and a one-and-a-half-inch offset projection. All dimensions are subject to a plus-or-minus one-half-inch tolerance.
