A continuous cantilevered hollow structural section beam frames over an HSS post supported by a canopy wide flange beam sized per plan. Full-height stiffener plates are provided on each side of the wide flange beam at the post location. The post to beam connection is welded with a one-quarter inch fillet weld, with further post connections detailed per sheet S5.01.
