Structural opening requirements in a concrete-filled metal deck assembly. A cluster of small openings is treated as a single larger opening for reinforcement purposes. Dimensional limits specify a maximum two-foot spacing and a typical one-and-a-half-inch clearance. Reinforcing bars are designated for concrete-filled decks only.
