A one-quarter-inch bent plate hanger assembly connects the glulam roof beam to the top of the glulam column using six zero-point-two-two-inch by six-inch partially threaded screws into the top of the column, dapped into the glulam beam with a one-half-inch chamfer at the corner. The cross-laminated timber roof panel bears on top with a one-half-inch gap below the roof. A three-eighths-inch stiffener plate and one-half-inch bearing plate are integrated into the connection. A deferred curtain wall attachment connects to the perimeter framing with two zero-point-two-two-inch by six-inch partially threaded screws.
