This structural detail shows a reinforced concrete basement mat slab terminating at a grade beam adjacent to a future excavation shoring wall. An existing precast pile located beneath the slab is indicated to be abandoned where it occurs, requiring the pile to be cut a minimum of twelve inches below the bottom of the mat slab. The assembly interfaces with future basement construction indicated as not in contract.
