A cold-formed steel ceiling joist track connects directly to a concrete wall using one-quarter-inch diameter expansion anchors spaced at sixteen inches on center. The anchors require a one-and-three-quarter-inch nominal embedment into the concrete. A four-inch minimum edge distance is maintained from the top of the concrete where applicable. The ceiling joist size is determined per structural plans.
