A cold-formed steel kicker brace consisting of an L6x2x14 gauge angle spanning 1'-4" connects to an overhead metal deck assembly. Two 1/2-inch diameter screw anchors with 3-1/2-inch embedment secure the angle, with anchors centered in the metal deck valley. Alternatively, expansion anchors of the same size and embedment are used based on Option B configuration. Equal spacing dimensions govern the anchor placement relative to the working point of the kicker.
