The assembly features a fully grouted CMU wall reinforced with vertical and horizontal steel bars, anchored into a concrete footing with dowels. The footing includes transverse reinforcement with standard hooked ends and maintains specified concrete clear cover. An isolation joint separates the wall assembly from the slab-on-grade, and a continuous masonry key is provided at the base.
