Seismic or tip-over anchorage of a refrigerator unit with a maximum weight of 400 pounds to a cold-formed metal stud partition. The unit features an overall height of seventy inches, a width of thirty-six inches, and a center of gravity positioned forty-seven inches above the base. Connection to the wall is achieved via a sixteen-gauge bent plate fastened with two number twelve self-tapping metal screws secured into continuous type B backing and two number twelve self-tapping metal screws into the top of the unit. The metal studs and wall finish are specified by architectural drawings.
