A continuous L3x3x3/8 metal angle supports a metal deck with a minimum two-inch bearing width and is secured to an existing ten-inch concrete masonry unit wall. Half-inch diameter Hilti HIT-HY 70 adhesive anchors are spaced at three feet on center. Solid grouted masonry requires four and a half inches of effective embedment. Hollow masonry requires a short screen tube with two-inch effective embedment.
