An HSS column passes through a reinforced concrete slab band, anchored at the top plate with four 12-millimeter diameter bolts and at the base with a 200x200x19 millimeter plate welded to the column. The surrounding timber-concrete composite slab band incorporates ten-millimeter stirrups, longitudinal reinforcing bars, and groups of threaded fasteners with three-hundred-millimeter embedment lengths. Additional tension ties and friction connectors are grouped and centered on the column per plan. Concrete slab reinforcing is detailed across the top of the assembly.
