A three-sixteenth-inch thick panel edge guard is fitted to the edge of a precast concrete panel with a three-quarter-inch typical chamfer. The assembly is secured using four total three-sixteenth-inch diameter nail holes and a one-half-inch by four-inch welded stud anchor centered on the profile. The vertical spacing of the stud anchors is detailed with dimensions of three inches, one foot six inches, and five feet zero inches across the panel elevation. Locations for the guard and anchors are coordinated with the panel elevations.
