An edge closure of the same gauge as the metal deck is secured to an edge member using number 10 screws spaced at four inches on center. The metal deck bears on the structural edge member and is anchored with five-eighth-inch diameter puddle welds per structural notes. The parallel edge and exterior bearing configurations provide edge support and closure for corrugated steel floor or roof decks.
