The structural detail displays column and base plate locations sized per plan centered within a concrete slab cutout. The surrounding void is specified to be filled around the column after the main floor slab is cast. A minimum dimension of eight inches is maintained from the column face to the surrounding construction joint. Construction joints are coordinated with typical project detail requirements.
