A structural steel beam supports a concrete slab or deck with a minimum two-inch bearing length typical. Shear connection is provided by seven-inch long, three-quarter-inch diameter Nelson studs spaced at twelve inches on center. An L3x3x3/8 angle connects the assembly, welded with one-quarter-inch welds at three to twelve spacing.
