This structural detail shows a 24 inch by 36 inch rectangular reinforced concrete column aligned to a structural grid. The assembly features longitudinal reinforcement distributed along the perimeter and interior, enclosed by column ties with alternating hook orientations typical. A clear cover of 1 1/2 inches is maintained from the face of the concrete to the ties.
