The connection consists of a diagonal kicker formed from an L4x4x1/4 angle, typically used unless otherwise noted. The angle connects to structural steel framing members with three-sixteenths inch fillet welds placed on both sides. A two-inch minimum lap is maintained at the connection interface. The overall span and layout are sized per plan.
