Cold-formed steel metal stud wall framing supports a ceiling joist bearing on a continuous track. The ceiling joists are sized per the structural schedule and tied with ceiling ties. The metal studs are minimum 33 mils, with finishes as specified on architectural drawings. Two number 8 screws secure each stud to the top track. Number 8 screws spaced at 8 inches on center fasten the connection components.
