Steel deck runs perpendicular to an edge beam with two alternative conditions. The assembly features a continuous sixteen gauge bent edge plate at the perimeter and steel deck sized per plan bearing over structural steel beams. Twelve gauge continuous bent plates are welded to the beam top flange with three-quarter-inch diameter studs at twelve inches on center. Condition B incorporates an additional L4x4x3/8 angle spaced at eight feet maximum per detail nine on sheet S5.21.
