The steel ledger splice utilizes a ledger splice plate centered on the panel joint, with splice plate sizing determined per the ledger splice plate table. Horizontal short slotted holes are provided on each side of the splice for anchor bolts, with bolts located on the panel joint side of the slot. A five-sixteenths inch typical weld connects the assembly components as shown.
