A structural drag connection transfers lateral diaphragm loads between a concrete-filled metal floor deck and a concrete tilt-up wall panel via a steel column. An L6x4x3/8 angle measuring zero feet ten inches long connects with three three-quarter-inch diameter by five-inch heavy stud anchors and two one-half-inch diameter by twenty-four-inch deformed bar anchors on each side of the column, located above and below the floor level. A three-eighths-inch by nine-inch by nine-inch embed plate with four three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch heavy stud anchors at eighteen inches on center is cast into the concrete tilt-up panel. One-half-inch diameter by thirty-inch long deformed bar anchors match the diaphragm reinforcement per the schedule, tying the concrete over the metal floor deck into the assembly.
