A concrete slab over metal floor deck extends past a steel beam support, creating a slab edge overhang. The steel beam connects to a supporting steel member using a full depth web plate and bolted connections. A horizontal clearance is provided at the slab edge condition, with a note directing to a separate detail when the slab edge overhang exceeds twelve inches.
