A structural stair stringer bears onto a concrete slab on grade and concrete footing, sized per plan and schedule. The stair stringer connects via an L3x3x1/4 angle, four inches long, secured with a three-quarter-inch diameter expansion bolt into a two-inch long-slotted hole. A quarter-inch fillet weld joins the angle to the stringer assembly. The assembly ties into the slab on grade and a thickened concrete footing with variable depth and width per schedule.
