A 600T125-54 cold-formed steel backing plate spans across metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center. The plate extends to the next full-height stud beyond both ends of the supported item. Three number ten screws fasten each end of the backing plate. Equipment with a maximum weight of two hundred pounds mounts to the assembly using quarter-inch by fourteen Hilti Kwik-Flex screws.
