The concrete slab on grade features a thickness of t, with a depressed section transitioning at a slope of 1:3 over a minimum 6-inch dimension. The construction joint includes edges rounded to a 1/8-inch radius on each side of the joint. The control joint requires a saw-cut performed within the first 12 hours of the slab pour. Both joint configurations detail proportional depth markers set at fractions of the total slab thickness, including 0.15t, 0.25t, and 0.5t offsets.
