A bent plate pourstop with a thickness of three-sixteenths of an inch sits at the perimeter of a concrete slab on steel decking, bearing on a supporting steel beam with a minimum two-inch flange clearance. Three-eighths-inch diameter by twenty-four and one-eighth-inch long Nelson deformed bar anchors are spaced at twelve inches on center unless noted otherwise. A one-eighth-inch fillet weld secures the assembly with a three-to-twelve weld pattern. The direction of the steel decking is sized per the structural plans.
