Precast concrete wall panels connect using embed plates measuring one-half inch thick by fifteen inches wide with varying height, joined across a fifteen-inch typical gap. Chord reinforcing bars splice into the embed plates, with bar sizes and lengths detailed in a companion bar schedule ranging from number seven to number ten bars. A secondary plate measuring one-half inch thick by twelve inches wide supports the joint, backed by tack-welded wire mesh filled with drypack or grout. Field welds of seven-sixteenths inch typical secure the steel embed assemblies.
