An L6x4x3/8 long-leg-vertical structural angle brace is connected perpendicular to a metal deck using two three-quarter-inch diameter expansion anchors with three-and-a-quarter-inch embedment spaced at twelve inches on center. The brace is attached to a three-eighths-inch thick plate measuring four inches by four inches with three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds featuring one-inch returns. An L3x3x1/4 angle with a maximum length of eight feet serves as part of the assembly and is welded with three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds.
