A notched timber beam bears directly onto a glulam beam specified per plan, secured with a concealed knife plate and through-bolts. A cross-laminated timber deck bears on top of the connection and is anchored down using 0.315-inch by 11-inch Simpson SDCP timber-CP edge screws extending through the deck into the members below.
