A cold-formed steel joist bears directly onto a top track and cold-formed steel stud wall below. The assembly is tied together with an L50 clip at each joist secured by number ten sheet metal screws at each flange and each end. A continuous rim track matches the size and gauge of the cold-formed steel joist. Panel edge fastening per plan secures the sheathing to both the rim joist and the wall stud.
