CoreBrace buckling-restrained braces connect to gusset plates welded to a continuous steel beam beneath a concrete over steel deck floor assembly. Typical stiffener plates are provided near side and far side as required by the brace manufacturer. The gusset plates and attachment details are designed by the buckling-restrained brace manufacturer to intersect at a central work point.
