A cylindrical cast-in-place concrete lightpole foundation has a diameter of two feet and a minimum depth of five feet six inches below grade. The pier is reinforced with six vertical number six bars and number three ties spaced at six inches on center, with three additional ties spaced at five inches at the top. A maximum lightpole height of eighteen feet is specified, supported by anchor bolts detailed per the manufacturer. Two inches maximum of non-shrink grout is placed beneath the pole base plate atop a chamfered concrete pier top, maintaining a minimum concrete cover of three inches.
