A glulam beam connects to a glulam column supporting a cross-laminated timber floor plate. The end of the glulam beam aligns with the far side of the column and is secured using four SDCP27912 structural screws. A sleeved pipe-to-pipe connection is integrated at the intersection, with three-quarter-inch by four-inch smooth steel dowels positioned at the corners of the bearing plate.
