Suspended loads are anchored directly to the metal deck profiles without concrete fill using various hardware configurations. The first detail supports a fifty pound maximum point load per bay using a half inch diameter threaded rod hung through a three eighths by three inch plate bearing across the top flute, with a minimum two inch clearance typ. The second detail supports a fifty pound maximum point load using a half inch diameter threaded rod fastened to a three by three by three eighths inch angle spanning beneath the bottom flute, secured with two number eight sheet metal screws typ on each side. The third detail supports a twenty five pound maximum point load per bay using a half inch diameter threaded rod anchored by a three eighths by one and a half by one and a half inch washer centered inside the down flute. The fourth detail supports a fifteen pound maximum point load per bay using a twelve gauge by three inch wide steel strap secured to the deck rib with two number eight sheet metal screws.
