The roof hatch security system uses a surface mount contact switch installed directly on the frame without mounting brackets, protected by a rugged aluminum housing. Steel armored cable runs through metal cable clamps to a surface mounted two-inch by four-inch box with a cover. A half-inch conduit routes wiring down through the structure to a twelve-by-twelve-by-four NEMA-one SCPB enclosure. A one-inch conduit then extends from this junction box to the nearest secure side facility room or secure side non-secure room. The roof hatch position contact signal routes to an input on the C-Cure system, complete with a GRI 6644-one resistor pack located at the door for end-of-line resistor supervision.
