A structural steel gusset plate connects a hollow structural section column to a wide-flange member with Grade 50 steel plates. The HSS6x6x3/8 column features fifteen three-quarter-inch diameter by five-inch welded headed studs at twelve inches on center each side. The plate measures three inches by one foot and is sized per schedule for length and width. Symmetrical bolt spacing and equal dimensions are detailed across the connection assembly.
