The assembly features a Corebrace buckling restrained brace connected to a steel column via a gusset plate. The gusset plate and its attachment are designed by the manufacturer, with stiffener plates provided as required by Corebrace. The steel column is anchored to a concrete foundation, with a concrete blockout provided at the slab-on-grade to accommodate the connection. Base plate and anchor bolt specifications are referenced to a separate drawing sheet. A defined work point is established at the intersection of the column centerline and the brace axis.
