A design-build fall arrest anchor mounts directly to a wide flange support beam with a variable slope. An additional 3/4-inch by 7-inch plate is added where the support beam flange is less than six inches wide or less than 1/2-inch thick. Two 3/8-inch stiffener plates are welded to the opposite side of the incoming beams. Fillet welds of 1/4-inch and 5/16-inch secure the assembly components.
