An exterior column aligns with a grid line and connects to an edge beam sized per plan. An L4x4x1/4 angle is positioned with a three-inch maximum clearance, accompanied by a deck section or a sixteen gauge pan to form for concrete. A quarter-inch fillet weld secures the assembly, and the steel deck is omitted for clarity.
