A hollow structural section wind girt connects to a concrete wall using a fifty KSI embed plate measuring five-eighths by sixteen by eighteen inches. The embed plate is anchored with four rows of three-quarter inch diameter headed stud anchors. An angle measuring five by three by three-eighths inches connects the girt bottom flange. Fillet welds of one-quarter and five-sixteenth inch sizes secure the steel assembly.
