A skin bracing angle connects to a concrete-filled metal floor deck using a three-eighths-inch by sixteen-inch square plate secured by four five-eighths-inch diameter by four-and-a-half-inch embedment bolts or expansion anchors with double nuts. The plate location is adjusted so the anchors align with the bottom flute of the steel deck. A one-quarter-inch by five-inch square plate transitions to the bracing angle, welded with three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds.
