The tilt-up panel is secured to the concrete footing via an embedded L6 x 6 x 3/8 inch angle, which is 1 foot long and anchored with two 3/4 inch diameter by 6 inch headed stud anchors and two number 6 by 36 inch diagonal deformed bar anchors, supplemented by four number 5 horizontal deformed bar anchors in a Z-configuration. The angle is welded to a 3/4 inch by 8 inch by 1 foot embed plate with a 1/4 inch fillet weld on three sides, while the plate itself is anchored into the footing with four 3/4 inch diameter by 8 inch headed stud anchors. A 3/8 inch by 6 inch by 8 inch plate is welded to the assembly with a 5/16 inch fillet weld. The entire connection assembly is protected by a coating of asphalt and a minimum of 3 inches of concrete cover.
