A concrete floor slab bears on a structural steel edge beam and supporting beam sized per plan, featuring a 12 gauge continuous metal edge form with two number four continuous reinforcing bars. Transverse reinforcement consists of number three bars spaced at twelve inches on center. An L5x5x3/8 angle spaced at ten feet maximum aligns with the beam on the opposite side and connects with a 1/4-inch fillet weld on two sides. A 3/8-inch pour stop plate secures to the top flange with a 1/4-inch weld.
