A six-inch maximum concrete housekeeping pad bears upon a concrete slab or metal deck sized per plan. The interface features a one-quarter-inch amplitude roughened joint for bonding. Reinforcement consists of number four bars spaced at twelve inches on center around the perimeter and in the field each way. Concrete cover is maintained at one inch clear at the top and sides.
