A notched hollow structural section stringer bears onto a wide flange beam and connects via an end plate welded on three sides. An angle measuring four by four by three-eighths inches is provided on each side with an erection bolt. Three-eighths-inch stiffener plates are welded at each stringer notch. Number three dowels spaced at twelve inches on center and offset headed studs at stairs only anchor the concrete slab.
